Dr Paul Kelly is a Chartered Educational and Child Psychologist, based in South Manchester, working predominantly across the North West of England, applying psychology to real-life problems to develop positive change, providing services to families, schools and other settings, Local Authorities, solicitors, social care and the media.
With over 20 years’ experience of working with children and families in SEND, Paul has a doctorate in Educational and Child Psychology from the University of Manchester, is a chartered scientist, and is registered to practise with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC). Paul is a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Association of Educational Psychologists (AEP). Paul is a Specialist Senior Educational Psychologist for a Local Authority, presents at international and national conferences as keynote speaker and trainer, has enjoyed being an honorary tutor of the University of Manchester, and is an expert voice on national radio and television. Paul is an expert in Attachment and developing Attachment Aware Schools.
Working with children and young people aged 0 – 25, Dr Paul Kelly offers person-centred psychological advice, assessments, training and consultancy, informed by high quality, up to date, evidence-based research. Paul is an expert witness to courts and tribunals and offers assessments including, but not limited to: dyslexia, dyscalculia, ASD, attention deficits, mental health, MLD, SLD, working memory, executive function, processing and sensory processing.
Paul also provides consultation for schools and offers INSET training.
